PAYD Fellowships for Mid-Career Professionals and Students

The HHH program builds connections between U.S and foreign leaders to advance solutions to the most pressing global challenges, from combatting climate change, government, politics, human rights, access to education, agriculture and global health security.

1 Hotels Fellows will work in partnership with Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) Emerging Leaders Program to identify pressing environmental issues and needs across the country, and then organize and execute projects that help communicate and amplify the business and economic case for smart policies to address these issues. Fellowships are restricted to early or mid-career professionals who currently work in sustainability, clean energy, water, infrastructure, or related fields. Each fellow will receive a stipend of $20,000, plus other benefits.

Assist early to mid-career scholars and professionals in advancing their analytic capabilities and broadening their foreign policy experience. CFR awards approximately ten fellowships annually to highly accomplished individuals who have a capacity for independent work. The IAF Program is only open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. The duration of the fellowship is 12 months and the program awards a stipend of $95,000.

Young Voices European Fellowship: A remote, paid, part-time opportunity for candidates in Europe ages 18-35 interested in writing about policy to receive up to $500 a month.

Harvard University Raghunathan Fellowship: An on-site opportunity for recent PhDs in the humanities and social sciences related to South Asia.

Social Science Research Council African Peacebuilding Network Fellowship: For African scholars and practitioners working on conflict and peacebuilding issues.

Princeton University Fung Global Fellowship: An on-site opportunity for scholars from outside of the U.S. interested in studying this year’s program theme: Colonial Residues.

White House Fellowship: For emerging U.S. leaders to gain insight into the process of U.S. governance.

Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation Public Policy Fellowship: For professionals, a person experiencing disability, or a family member of someone with intellectual or developmental disabilities to work in federal government offices.

Harvard Kennedy School Ernest May Fellowship in History and Policy: For History Predoctoral Candidates and Ph.D. recipients to study major issues of international affairs.

Union for African Population Studies African Research and Data (AfRes-Data) Fellowship for Early Career Researchers: For early career researchers in Africa to research population and development issues.

1ChangemakerXchange Changemakers for Democracy Fellowship: For Europe-based practitioners working on democratic renewal and new economic paradigms.

Dartmouth College Rosenwald Postdoctoral Fellowship in U.S. Foreign Policy and International Security.
